I remember riding on the back of my mom’s motorbike we were way out of town deep in the woods somehow we rode through some thistles I was covered in them some were in my skin so she stopped the bike she tried to take them out but no matter how much it hurt I refused to feel
well I got so good at this it became a game I still play this game I never want it to stop don’t need a thirsty nurse you’ll never help me feel it don’t need to help me know I need a hungry doctor to tell me everything she can not ever sell me it’s only something that might just kill me I might be hungry but I run on empty don’t need a thirsty nurse you’ll never help me feel it don’t need to help me know I see your pulley to pull right through me the quills inside me well let them rule me cuz somewhere inside this broken body there is a zombie who runs on empty don’t need a thirsty nurse you’ll never help me feel it don’t need to help me know on the way home we got passed by a hearse cry thirst panic sweat thirst panic sweat thirst
This is pretty much a perfect noise rock record, worshiping at the Church of Jesus Lizard, but with its own flavor of punishment, more calculated and bludgeoning than Yow and co. The riffs are all killer, no filler. I'm sad that this is the last hurrah for this band, but at least it ended on this very high note. Buildings is dead, long live Buildings! fyeahmetal
Chat pile c’est une cuillère à soupe de Sonic Youth, une pincée de Ministry, une cuillère à café de Joy Division et le résultat est très très bon !!
